Aerocity Gold Chain Snatch: Daybreak Robbery Shakes Residents
A brazen daylight robbery has sent shockwaves through Aerocity’s C Block. On April 21, 2025, at approximately 6:53 AM, Archana Jain, 35, was walking near her home when two bike-borne men snatched her gold chain.
The assailants, their faces concealed, initially rode past Ms. Jain before executing a U-turn. They then swiftly snatched the chain and sped away.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. They are reviewing CCTV footage from the area and appealing to witnesses to come forward with any information.
The incident has raised serious concerns about safety and security within the otherwise upscale Aerocity neighbourhood. Residents are demanding increased police patrols and improved street lighting to prevent similar crimes in the future.
