Army Commander Honours War Heroes in Dharamshala

Lt General MK Katiyar, Army Commander, Yol Cantt, paid his respects at the State War Memorial in Dharamshala on Monday, April 21, 2025. He was received by Col KKS Dadwal.

Following a wreath-laying ceremony, the General received a detailed briefing on the memorial’s master plan.

The visit also included an introduction to members of the War Memorial Society. Dr Lalit Mohan Sharma, a former member, was among those present.

This visit underscores the Army’s continued commitment to honouring the sacrifices of its brave soldiers and preserving their memory for future generations. The ongoing development of the memorial reflects a dedication to ensuring a fitting tribute to these fallen heroes.
