Governor Kataria Honours 819 at Chandigarh Women’s College Convocation

Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Sector 36, Chandigarh, celebrated its annual convocation on April 21, 2025. A total of 819 graduating students received their degrees.

The ceremony was presided over by the Governor of Punjab and UT Administrator, Gulab Chand Kataria. He personally conferred degrees upon the graduating class.

Justice (retd) Pritam Pal, vice president of the DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi, also participated in the event, assisting in the degree distribution.

The convocation marked a significant milestone for the graduating students, launching them into their respective careers and future endeavours. This event underscores the college’s continued contribution to the higher education landscape of Chandigarh and the nation.
