President’s Medal Winner Gets Life for Lover’s Murder
A former Maharashtra policeman, Abhay Kurundkar, a recipient of the President’s Police Medal, was sentenced to life imprisonment on Monday. The Panvel Additional Sessions Court found him guilty of murdering Assistant Police Inspector Ashwini Bidre-Gore in 2016.
