Wheat Glut Cripples Haryana Mandis: New Crop Arrival Looms

The delay in lifting the existing stock is creating a logistical nightmare for the state. Farmers are anxiously awaiting payment, and the overall efficiency of the procurement process is severely hampered.

The state government is under pressure to expedite the lifting process. Failure to do so could lead to spoilage of the wheat, impacting farmers’ income and national food security.
