Illegal Buses to be Towed: MC Crackdown Begins
Chandigarh Municipal Corporation (MC) has initiated a major crackdown on illegally parked private buses across the city. Commissioner Amit Kumar has directed the enforcement and engineering wings to take immediate action.
The Building and Roads (B&R) wing has been tasked with informing private bus operators to relocate their vehicles to the designated parking lot in Hallomajra.
This move follows numerous complaints regarding traffic congestion and obstruction caused by haphazardly parked buses. The MC aims to streamline traffic and improve the overall city infrastructure.
