Indore Gets India’s First State-Run Cricket Museum: A Tribute to Legends
The Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) unveiled a unique cricket museum in Indore on July 8, 2025. Housing over 500 artefacts, it’s a first-of-its-kind initiative by a state cricket body.
The museum showcases memorabilia from cricketing greats like Sachin Tendulkar and Sir Donald Bradman. Visitors can explore bats, balls, and other equipment used by these legends.
The MPCA envisions the museum as an inspirational hub for young cricketers. Plans include integrating modern technology to further enhance the visitor experience.
This initiative is expected to boost Indore’s sporting tourism and further cultivate a love for cricket amongst the youth. The museum promises to be a significant addition to India’s sporting heritage landscape.
