Haryana Police: Digital Drive Speeds Justice, Death Sentence in Record Time

Haryana Police has significantly boosted its efficiency through a comprehensive digital transformation, impacting crime management and judicial processes. Over 54,000 personnel have received training on updated criminal laws, reflecting a commitment to legal proficiency.

The state’s embrace of technology is evident in the impressive 91% electronic summons issuance rate. This streamlined approach minimizes delays and ensures timely communication.

Furthermore, a remarkable 37,800 officers actively utilize the iGOT Karmayogi platform, demonstrating a high level of digital literacy within the force. This platform facilitates better coordination and information sharing.

The impact is tangible: a death sentence was delivered in a mere 140 days, showcasing the speed and efficiency gained through digital advancements. The increasing use of remote proceedings further underscores this progress.
