The Yamunanagar-Jagadhri Municipal Corporation has taken the lead in Haryana’s ongoing property verification drive, achieving a remarkable 53.28% completion rate. This surpasses other corporations, with Panipat and Hisar trailing at 47.34% and 48.85% respectively.

The initiative aims to create a comprehensive and accurate database of properties within the state. This will aid in efficient tax collection and prevent fraudulent activities.

Residents are advised to promptly verify their property IDs to avoid any complications. This can be done conveniently through either door-to-door visits by corporation officials or at the designated Citizen Facilitation Centres.
