Chautala Slams BJP: BPL Card Scam, Soaring Prices, and Lawlessness in Haryana
Dushyant Chautala, leader of the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), launched a scathing attack on the BJP government in Haryana on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. He accused the ruling party of manipulating Below Poverty Line (BPL) cards for electoral gains, subsequently removing families from the crucial welfare scheme.
Chautala highlighted the alleged misuse of BPL cards as a blatant attempt to garner votes. He claimed numerous deserving families have been unfairly deprived of essential benefits.
The JJP leader further condemned the alarming rise in crime rates across the state. He expressed deep concern over the deteriorating law and order situation.
He also criticized the sharp increase in the price of subsidized oil, impacting the common man’s budget. This, he argued, reflects the government’s failure to manage essential commodities effectively.
Chautala’s criticism extended to the overall governance, stating the BJP government had lost control. He called for a thorough investigation into the BPL card irregularities.
With upcoming elections looming, Chautala urged his party to gear up for a strong campaign. He emphasized the need to expose the BJP’s alleged failures and present a viable alternative to the electorate. The accusations raise serious questions about governance and welfare schemes in the state, impacting millions of Haryana residents.
