Japan’s Ambassador to India, Mr. Ono Keiichi, expressed Tokyo’s unwavering commitment to India’s semiconductor ambitions during a recent visit to Gujarat. Accompanied by over 60 Japanese business delegates, the Ambassador toured the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) and the Tata Electronics facility on July 11, 2025.

The visit underscores Japan’s keen interest in collaborating with India on this crucial technological frontier. Dholera SIR, a flagship project, is strategically positioned to attract significant investment in manufacturing.
