Assam Migrant Lynched in Arunachal: Parents’ Fury Ignites Mob Violence
A 19-year-old Assam migrant working at a construction site in Arunachal Pradesh was lynched by a mob on Saturday, July 12, 2025. He had been apprehended earlier by the parents of several schoolgirls he allegedly molested.
Following his arrest and handover to the police, a large mob stormed the police station. They overpowered the authorities and dragged the young man out.
