Delhi Tragedy: Meerut Boy Drowns in Ashoka Park Pond
Seventeen-year-old Salman, visiting his labourer father in Delhi, tragically drowned in Ashoka Park’s pond on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. The incident occurred while he was swimming with friends.
Salman, a resident of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, had travelled to the capital to spend time with his family. The circumstances surrounding the drowning are currently under investigation.
Police and emergency services were alerted to the incident, but sadly, Salman could not be revived. His body was recovered from the pond.
