Dynamite Haul Near Himachal Border: 3 Arrested
Uttarakhand Police made a significant seizure of 125 kg of illegal dynamite near the Himachal Pradesh border on Friday, July 11, 2025. The explosives were discovered during a routine vehicle check.
The dynamite, along with detonator caps and fuse, was found in an Alto car bearing registration number HP 09C 9788.
Three individuals, all residents of Himachal Pradesh, were apprehended. They have been charged under the Explosives Act.
The car was intercepted before it could cross into Himachal Pradesh. Investigations are underway to determine the source and intended destination of the explosives.
