Himachal Pradesh Goes Digital: “My Deed” Revolutionizes Land Records
Himachal Pradesh has launched a landmark initiative, “My Deed,” aimed at streamlining land registration processes. The new system allows for online applications, significantly reducing the need for physical visits to government offices.
This digital push is part of a wider effort to modernize revenue services in the state. Simplified “Jamabandi” (land record) access, e-Roznamcha Vakyati (daily register), and “Kaarguzari” (performance) systems are also being rolled out.
The state government envisions a completely paperless system for revenue administration. Future plans include online mutation and a comprehensive digital court management system.
The implementation of “My Deed” and related initiatives is expected to bring greater transparency and efficiency to land transactions, benefiting both citizens and the state’s economy. This move towards digital governance is a significant step towards easing bureaucratic hurdles and promoting ease of doing business in Himachal Pradesh.
