Kurukshetra School Tragedy: Nine Injured as Speeding Car Hits Auto

A speeding car collided with an auto-rickshaw carrying students and staff from a school for the deaf and mute in Kurukshetra on July 11, 2025. Nine individuals sustained injuries, including four students.

All injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is yet to be ascertained.

The driver of the speeding car, however, fled the accident site. Police have impounded the vehicle and launched an investigation to apprehend the culprit.

This incident highlights the urgent need for stricter enforcement of traffic rules and increased road safety measures, especially around educational institutions. The trauma faced by these children and the staff underscores the devastating consequences of reckless driving. The police investigation must ensure swift justice and deter similar incidents in the future.
