Mann Slams Modi’s Foreign Trips, Accuses BJP of Punjab Neglect
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, questioning the efficacy of his recent foreign visits. Mann alleged these trips primarily benefit the Adani Group, overlooking pressing domestic issues.
He further accused the BJP-led central government of blatant discrimination against Punjab. The state, he claimed, is being ignored while the party protects gangsters operating within its borders.
Mann’s criticism specifically targeted the BJP’s handling of law and order in Punjab. He highlighted the continued presence of notorious criminals and vowed to bring gangster Lawrence Bishnoi back to the state to face justice.
This sharp rebuke comes amidst rising tensions between the AAP government in Punjab and the BJP at the Centre. The accusations raise serious questions about the allocation of national resources and the effectiveness of governance strategies, particularly concerning the safety and security of Punjab’s citizens. The upcoming Lok Sabha elections will likely see this escalating conflict take centre stage.
