Telangana Minister Inaugurates National Conference on Future-Ready Highrises
The Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India) , Hyderabad Centre, launched a two-day national conference on July 12, 2025. The event, held at the ESCI Campus, Gachibowli, focused on ‘Next-Gen Highrise Buildings – Advancements in Composite and Steel Structures’.
Telangana’s IT, Electronics & Industries Minister, Shri D. Sridhar Babu, officially inaugurated the conference. He stressed the crucial role of innovation in creating sustainable infrastructure for India’s burgeoning urban landscape.
Several leading figures from the construction industry attended. This included Mr. Rajkumar Kacharla, President, South, and Vice President, ACCE(I); Mr. Er. Kashiram Adepu, governing council member and immediate past chairman, ACCE (I) Hyderabad Centre; Mr. Er. Bheem Rao Jaligama, Vice-Chairman and In-charge Chairman, ACCE(I) Hyderabad Centre; Mr. Er. C. Ramesh, Hon. Secretary, ACCE(I); and Mr. Sudhakar, Co-Option Member, ACCE(I).
The speakers underscored the increasing importance of steel and composite materials in modern high-rise construction. The conference aimed to explore cutting-edge technologies and best practices in this vital sector.
