Temple Guard’s Custodial Death: CBI Books TN Police for Murder
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has booked Tamil Nadu police personnel for murder in connection with the custodial death of Ajit Kumar, a temple guard. Kumar was arrested on June 27, 2025.
He was found dead the following day, June 28, 2025. A post-mortem examination revealed multiple injuries on his body.
This led the CBI to register a case under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, invoking charges of murder. The investigation is underway.
