15 Days Ultimatum: AAP Faces Sikh Activist’s Ire Over Missing Guru Granth Sahib
Shiromani Akali Dal leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal has issued a 15-day ultimatum to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab. He demands immediate action on the issue of missing Guru Granth Sahib saroops.
The demand is based on a 2020 report by a panel headed by Ishar Singh, which detailed the missing sacred texts. Dallewal alleges inaction by the government.
Failure to address the concerns within the stipulated timeframe will result in a large-scale agitation, Dallewal warned. He called for a thorough investigation and recovery of the missing saroops.
This development comes at a sensitive time, with religious sentiments running high. The government’s response will be crucial in maintaining peace and harmony in the state. The issue has the potential to escalate significantly if left unaddressed.
