Sainik School to Rise in Chandigarh: A Legacy Forged in Learning

Chandigarh is set to welcome its first Sainik School, a prestigious government-run institution dedicated to nurturing future leaders. This landmark initiative will transform the existing GMSSS-23 campus into a model school, offering a high standard of education and leadership training.

The school’s establishment marks a significant step towards strengthening national defence preparedness through quality education. Admissions will be based on the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE).

Classes are tentatively scheduled to commence in the next academic year, subject to the completion of necessary infrastructural upgrades. The historical significance of the chosen building adds a unique dimension to this project.
