Mann Slams Opponents, Unveils Bhagat Singh Heritage Complex
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inaugurated a new heritage complex in Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of revolutionary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh, on July 28, 2025. The complex is intended to preserve and celebrate Singh’s legacy.
Mann used the occasion to sharply criticize his political rivals. He specifically targeted former Chief Ministers Amarinder Singh and Parkash Singh Badal, along with Bikram Majithia, accusing them of actively hindering Punjab’s progress.
The Chief Minister highlighted the significance of the project, asserting that it was crucial to ensure the fruits of freedom reached every citizen. He stressed the importance of remembering and honouring the sacrifices of national heroes.
This heritage complex is expected to draw significant tourism to Khatkar Kalan, boosting the local economy and fostering patriotism amongst visitors. The project’s success will serve as a benchmark for future initiatives aimed at preserving India’s rich history and promoting its cultural heritage.
