Haryana’s Industrial Exodus: Hooda Blasts BJP’s “Anti-Industry” Policies
Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Monday launched a scathing attack on the BJP government, accusing it of driving industries out of the state through flawed policies. He highlighted the alarming closure of numerous industrial units in key areas like Yamunanagar and Panipat.
Hooda cited the relocation of over 100 rice mills to Madhya Pradesh as a prime example. He attributed this exodus to the state government’s allegedly exorbitant market fees and inflated electricity tariffs.
The Congress leader emphasized the severe economic consequences of this industrial flight. He stressed the resulting job losses and the crippling blow to Haryana’s revenue generation.
This industrial exodus raises serious concerns about Haryana’s economic future. The state government needs to address these issues urgently to prevent further damage and retain its industrial base. The upcoming Assembly elections will likely see this become a major point of contention.
