GMCH-32 Grapples with Critical Nursing Shortage: Recruitment Drive Underway

Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH)-32 is facing a severe shortage of nursing staff, with nearly one-third of its sanctioned posts lying vacant. This alarming situation has prompted immediate action.

The hospital administration has initiated a recruitment drive for 324 nursing posts to alleviate the crisis. This drive aims to fill the existing vacancies and bolster the hospital’s capacity.

To address the long-term needs and anticipated growth, the authorities have also approved the creation of new nursing posts. Furthermore, the intake capacity for nursing courses has been significantly increased.

These measures are crucial steps in ensuring that GMCH-32 can continue providing quality healthcare to the large patient population it serves. The success of this recruitment drive and the expansion of nursing education will directly impact patient care and the overall efficiency of the hospital. The timely implementation of these plans is vital for maintaining the hospital’s reputation and its ability to meet the growing healthcare demands of the region.
