The High-Power Purchase Committee is slated to deliberate on the project on August 11. This crucial meeting will decide the fate of the much-anticipated facelift.

Tenders for the project, which includes Rs 8.66 crore for road beautification and Rs 9.07 crore for park and roundabout improvements, have already been issued. However, financial clearance remains pending.

The delay raises concerns about the project’s timeline and potential impact on Karnal’s development. Local residents eagerly await the committee’s decision, hoping for a timely commencement of the transformative project. Its success will serve as a model for urban rejuvenation in Haryana.
