Ladakh Tragedy: Two Bravehearts Laid to Rest

Two Indian Army personnel, Lt Colonel Mankotia and Lance Dafadar Daljit Singh, who lost their lives in a tragic accident in Ladakh on July 31, 2025, were cremated with full military honours in their home state of Punjab.

A massive boulder crashed into their army vehicle, resulting in the unfortunate demise of the two soldiers. Three other soldiers sustained injuries in the incident.

Heartfelt condolences poured in from across the nation, with mourners gathering at the homes of the deceased to pay their respects. Punjab Chief Minister also expressed deep sorrow and offered his condolences to the bereaved families.

The incident underscores the inherent risks faced by our armed forces while safeguarding our nation’s borders. The nation mourns the loss of these brave soldiers and stands in solidarity with their families during this difficult time. Their sacrifice will not be forgotten.
