Ajnala Attack: 41 Amritpal Associates Face Charges, Trial Begins August 2

Forty-one associates of radical preacher Amritpal Singh appeared before a court on Thursday, July 31, 2025, facing charges related to the violent attack on the Ajnala police station.

Among those present were eight associates recently released from Dibrugarh jail.

The accused, including those freed from Dibrugarh, pleaded not guilty. The trial is scheduled to commence on August 2, 2025.

Amritpal Singh himself remains in custody.
