The Maharashtra government and The Art of Living’s Sri Sri Rural Development Programme Trust (SSRDP) have joined hands in a major education initiative. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on August 1, 2025, marking the start of a collaborative effort.
This ambitious project aims to significantly improve the quality of education in 150 government-aided schools. These schools are spread across 10 districts of the state.
The partnership will focus on holistic development, encompassing academic excellence and character building. Specific details regarding the implementation plan are expected to be released soon.
This initiative holds significant promise for enhancing educational standards in rural Maharashtra.
