Nuh Duo Busted: Fake ADGP Profile Lands Two in Judicial Custody
Two men, identified as Sahid and Munfaid, were arrested in Nuh, Haryana on July 31, 2025, for masterminding a sophisticated online fraud. The duo allegedly created fake social media profiles, impersonating Haryana’s ADGP Alok Mittal and a Delhi resident.
Their elaborate scheme involved defrauding unsuspecting individuals through these fabricated online identities. Police investigations revealed a meticulously planned operation.
During the arrests, law enforcement recovered crucial evidence including multiple fake SIM cards and mobile phones used in the scam.
Both Sahid and Munfaid confessed to their crimes following police interrogation. They were subsequently remanded to judicial custody after a period of police remand.
