Double Tragedy Strikes: Newlywed & Brother Electrocuted During Festive Celebrations

A pall of grief descended upon a family in following a tragic electrocution incident on August 1, 2025. A newly married woman and her brother lost their lives while celebrating Teej and Raksha Bandhan.

The incident occurred due to faulty wiring in their home, preliminary investigations revealed. The brother, the family’s sole breadwinner, is survived by his wife and a young child.

Their father sustained injuries while attempting to rescue his daughter and son. He is currently receiving medical treatment. The incident highlights the urgent need for stricter electrical safety regulations.
