IIT Bombay Student’s Tragic Fall: Powai Hostel Death Stirs Concerns
A pall of gloom descended upon the IIT Bombay campus following the tragic death of 22-year-old Rohit Sinha. Sinha, a fourth-year Metallurgical Sciences student hailing from Delhi, was found dead after falling from the tenth floor of his hostel in Powai around 2:30 am on August 2, 2025.
