Hisar Revenue Clerk Nabbed in Rs 10,000 Bribe Sting
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Hisar arrested Mangat Ram, a revenue clerk, on Friday, August 1, 2025. He was apprehended while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000.
The complainant alleged that Ram demanded the money to process a land mutation. The ACB team conducted a sting operation, catching Ram red-handed at Patwar Bhawan.
Marked currency notes were used in the operation, providing irrefutable evidence against the accused. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
