Tiranga Takes Centre Stage: UT Gears Up for Independence Day Celebrations
The Union Territory Administration is all set to participate wholeheartedly in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, scheduled from August 2nd to 15th, to mark India’s 79th Independence Day. Preparations are underway across the UT.
Public spaces will be adorned with the national flag, creating a vibrant atmosphere of patriotism. Several locations will host exhibitions curated by the Ministry of Culture, showcasing India’s rich heritage.
A series of patriotic events and cultural programmes are planned to engage citizens of all ages. These will include flag hoisting ceremonies, musical performances and other community gatherings.
