BRS MLA Kavitha’s Explosive Allegations Rock Ruling Party
BRS Member of the Legislative Council (MLC), Kavitha, launched a scathing attack on a senior party leader on Sunday, August 3, 2025. She accused the leader of orchestrating a campaign of inappropriate remarks targeting her.
The MLC alleged a deep-seated internal conspiracy within the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). She warned of serious repercussions if the matter was not addressed swiftly.
Kavitha also took aim at a party leader she described as a “Lilliput leader,” without naming the individual. Her criticism hinted at factionalism and power struggles within the party.
Further escalating the situation, Kavitha demanded permission to undertake a hunger strike. This protest, she stated, is to pressure the government to approve crucial backward class reservation bills.
This internal conflict within the ruling BRS carries significant implications for the upcoming state elections. Kavitha’s bold accusations and planned protest could significantly impact the party’s image and electoral prospects, potentially fracturing its support base.
