Monsoon Magic: Kalapini Komkali Enchants Delhi Audience
The Indian National Theatre reverberated with the soulful strains of Hindustani classical music on August 2, 2025. Vidushi Kalapini Komkali captivated the audience with a mesmerizing “Varsha Ritu Sangeet Sandhya,” a monsoon-themed musical evening presented jointly by the Indian National Theatre and the Durga Das Foundation.
Komkali’s performance included evocative compositions by her father, alongside a moving rendition of a Kabir bhajan. The evening’s melody perfectly captured the spirit of the monsoon season.
The event also served as a tribute to renowned personality Navjeevan Khosla. Accompanying Komkali were the accomplished musicians Chetan Nigam Joshi and Shambhunath Bhattacharjee.
