Haryana CM Slams Punjab Vigilance Raid: Politics or Farmer Welfare?
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Saini today strongly criticised a recent Punjab Vigilance Bureau raid on the residence of a BJP member. He questioned the timing of the raid, suggesting it was politically motivated.
Saini highlighted his government’s focus on farmer welfare, pointing to the successful distribution of benefits under the PM-KISAN scheme. He also underscored the transparency in recent Group D government appointments.
The Chief Minister further emphasized initiatives aimed at youth development, specifically mentioning the launch of the ambitious Khel Mahakumbh sports program.
The timing of the raid, coinciding with Haryana’s positive strides in key sectors, raises concerns about political interference in state affairs. This incident underscores the ongoing tension between neighbouring states and its potential impact on crucial developmental projects.
