CII Appoints Jindal as Northern Region Head

Rachna Jindal has been appointed as the new Regional Director of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) Northern Region, based in Chandigarh. The announcement was made on August 4, 2025.

Jindal will be responsible for overseeing CII operations across several states and Union Territories in the region.

Her appointment leverages her extensive experience spanning two decades within the CII. Prior to this role, she spearheaded a crucial partnership between CII and NITI Aayog, focusing on support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

This appointment is significant given the Northern region’s crucial role in India’s economic growth. Jindal’s expertise in supporting MSMEs will be vital in navigating the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in the region.
