Trio Held for Gunpoint Taxi Robbery, Vehicle Recovered
Three men, including the alleged mastermind Dheeraj, were arrested by police on August 3, 2025, in connection with a daring taxi robbery that occurred last December.
The incident took place on December 4, 2023, when the accused, armed with a gun, robbed a taxi driver of his vehicle, cash, and mobile phone.
The police launched a comprehensive investigation, leading to the arrests in Karnal and Chandigarh. The stolen vehicle has been recovered.
The accused are facing charges under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including dacoity, and the Arms Act.
