Recruitment activity in India surged by 19% year-on-year in July 2025, a significant increase despite a slight slowdown. The foundit Insights Tracker (fit) revealed this positive trend.

However, hiring remained stagnant compared to the previous quarter. A marginal 2% month-on-month decrease was also observed.

Despite the minor dip, Global Capability Centres (GCCs) showed remarkable resilience, recording a robust 12% year-on-year growth in July.

This data paints a mixed picture of India’s employment landscape. While the overall trend remains positive, the month-on-month decline warrants close monitoring.

Experts will be watching for signs of sustained growth in the coming months. The performance of GCCs suggests continued foreign investment confidence in India’s skilled workforce. This is crucial for India’s economic growth and future job creation.
