Manipal Hospital Champions Breastfeeding Awareness in Bengaluru

Manipal Hospital, Varthur Road, observed World Breastfeeding Week with a dedicated awareness event on August 2nd, 2025. The Department of NICU & Pediatrics organised the initiative for expectant and new parents.

The event saw participation from several Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) in the Varthur area. Discussions focused on the crucial benefits of breastfeeding for both mother and child.

Experts from the hospital shared valuable insights on optimal breastfeeding practices and addressed common concerns among parents. The session aimed to empower families with the knowledge to make informed choices.
