Yamunanagar Vegetable Market Gets Clean-Up Blitz

The Yamunanagar-Jagadhri Municipal Corporation (MC) and the market committee have joined forces to tackle the cleanliness crisis at the city’s vegetable market. A recent inspection by the Mayor revealed significant sanitation issues, prompting immediate action.

The clean-up operation will utilise the MC’s sanitation staff and equipment. The corporation will also implement a composting system to convert waste into usable manure.

This initiative goes beyond a one-time clean-up. The MC will enforce stricter rules regarding regular cleaning and garbage disposal within the market.
