Gadchiroli Tragedy: Four Boys Killed in Highway Accident
A horrific road accident claimed the lives of four young boys in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra, on August 7, 2025. The victims, aged between 12 and 16, were struck by a speeding truck on a busy highway.
Two other boys sustained injuries in the incident and are currently receiving medical treatment. The exact circumstances leading to the accident are still under investigation.
Maharashtra Chief Minister expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the young lives. A financial aid package of ₹4 lakh has been announced for each of the deceased boys’ families.
The state government will also bear the complete medical expenses for the injured children. This tragic event underscores the urgent need for improved road safety measures and stricter enforcement of traffic regulations across the state, especially in areas with high pedestrian traffic.
