Free Ride for Sisters: Haryana Buses Offer Raksha Bandhan Gift

Haryana’s roadways buses will offer free travel to women and children under 15 years of age this Raksha Bandhan. The initiative covers travel within Haryana, to Chandigarh, and Delhi.

This special concession is valid from 12 noon on August 8th to midnight on August 9th, 2025. The move aims to facilitate convenient travel during the festival.

The scheme applies to all ordinary buses, making it accessible to a large section of the population. This gesture is expected to ease travel burdens for many families celebrating the festival.

The free travel initiative is a significant step by the Haryana government to support women and children.
