NIC Haryana officials conducted a comprehensive review of Karnal’s digital governance initiatives on August 6, 2025. The meeting focused on key areas crucial for efficient administration.

Discussions centered on the effective implementation of the e-Office system, promoting the use of official email communication, and bolstering cybersecurity measures.

Additional Secretary & SIO, Anuj Mahajan, stressed the importance of digital literacy training for officials. He highlighted the need for robust cyber fraud prevention strategies.

Mahajan also underscored the penalties under the recently enacted Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, emphasizing its significance in safeguarding citizen data.
