Sri Sri’s Farm Revolution: MoUs Boost Organic Farming in India
The Art of Living’s Sri Sri Institute of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Trust (AOL-SSIAST) forged crucial partnerships on August 7, 2025, to propel organic farming in India. Two significant Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed with National Cooperative Organics Limited (NCOL) and Bharatiya Beej Sahakari Samiti Limited (BBSSL).
The event, graced by Shri Ashish Bhutani, Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, signifies a major stride towards modernising traditional Indian agriculture. This collaboration aims to empower farmers and boost sustainable practices nationwide.
These MoUs promise to integrate modern agricultural techniques with traditional knowledge, enhancing both yield and quality. The initiative is expected to significantly impact the livelihoods of farmers across the country.
The strategic alliances mark a pivotal moment for India’s agricultural sector. By combining the expertise of AOL-SSIAST with the reach of NCOL and BBSSL, the initiative has the potential to revitalise rural economies and ensure food security for millions. The success of this model could pave the way for wider adoption of sustainable farming practices across India.
