Tohana Woman Nabbed in Illicit Liquor Bust

Police in Tohana, Haryana, conducted a successful raid in Laloda village on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, resulting in the arrest of Sharanjeet Kaur. Kaur was apprehended for illegally manufacturing and possessing country liquor.

Authorities seized a significant quantity of illicit liquor during the operation. The haul included 70 litres of ready-to-drink liquor and 80 litres of lahan, the raw material used in its production.

A case has been registered against Kaur under the provisions of the Haryana Excise Act. Investigations are underway to ascertain the extent of her operation and identify any potential accomplices.
