UP Volleyball League Serves Up a Grand Opening in Greater Noida
A new era in Uttar Pradesh sports dawned on August 7, 2025, with the launch of the Uttar Pradesh Pro Volleyball League (UPPVL). The inaugural ceremony, held at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida, promised an exciting future for the state’s athletes.
The event, running from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, marked a significant milestone. Founded by Shri Kulwant Baliyan and spearheaded by Organizing Chairman Prabal Pratap Singh Tomar, the league aims high.
UPPVL envisions providing a national and international stage for Uttar Pradesh’s young volleyball talent. This initiative is expected to nurture future champions and elevate the state’s sporting profile.
