Panipat Workshop Bridges Govt-Media Gap: Welfare Schemes in Focus

The Press Information Bureau (Chandigarh) conducted a successful media workshop, “Vartalap,” in Panipat on August 6, 2025. The initiative aimed to foster stronger government-media relations and enhance public awareness of crucial welfare schemes.

Discussions centred on key government programmes. These included strengthening the Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), effective utilisation of the Press Sewa Portal, and the progress of skill development initiatives like STRIVE.

Participants also explored the benefits offered under the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) scheme. The newly introduced cooperative policy was another significant topic of discussion.

The workshop served as a valuable platform for interaction and information exchange. Improved communication between the government and media is crucial for effective policy implementation and reaching the intended beneficiaries across Haryana and beyond.
