Mohali Pension Adalat Clears 43 Grievances

A special Pension Adalat held in Mohali on August 9, 2025, successfully addressed 43 pension-related complaints from Punjab state government employees. The initiative, organised by the office of the Accountant General, provided a platform for direct interaction between pensioners and sanctioning authorities.

The Adalat brought together key officials, including Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs), to resolve long-standing pension issues faced by retirees. This facilitated on-the-spot redressal of grievances, offering a much-needed relief to many.

The event underscores the state government’s commitment to ensuring timely and efficient pension disbursement. The success of this Adalat sets a positive precedent for addressing similar concerns across Punjab, highlighting the importance of proactive grievance redressal mechanisms for retired government servants. It’s a significant step towards ensuring the welfare of those who have dedicated their lives to public service.
