CBSE Warns of Fake Mark Sheet Racket: Students Urged to Beware
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a strong warning on Thursday against fraudulent activities involving the issuance of duplicate mark sheets and certificates. The Delhi (East) regional office alerted the public to misleading information being spread by unauthorised sources.
These sources are falsely promising expedited solutions for document corrections and the obtaining of duplicate academic documents. The CBSE clarified that only official channels should be used for such requests.
The Board emphasized the importance of verifying information only through official CBSE websites and communication channels. Students and parents are advised to exercise extreme caution and avoid falling prey to these scams.
This warning highlights a growing concern regarding fraudulent activities targeting students and parents. The CBSE’s proactive measure underscores the need for heightened vigilance to protect the integrity of academic records and safeguard students from financial exploitation.
